APMAR prepares hearing with the Italian Ministry of Health

After a request of APMAR Onlus to arrange a hearing with the Italian Ministry of Health, a meeting between the two parts took place on the 11th of January 2018, in Rome.  During the meeting the president of APMAR, Ms Antonella Celano, indicated and highlighted the main problems and obstacles that people with RMDs mainly face and which are related to the LEA (Essential Levels of Assistance), the National Plan of Chronicity implementations as well as patients’ treatment and care.

Moreover, the main aim of this meeting was to make the decision makers to understand the negative impact that a series of system’s deficiencies (problems on the exemptions of LEAs, failure to implement the National Plan of Chronicity etc.) have in the quality of life of patients with RMDs.
