BORPD organises activities on the occasion of World Lupus Day

On the occasion of the world lupus day, on the 10th May, BOPRD (Bulgarian Organisation for patients with Rheumatic Diseases) organised an event with main aim to raise public awareness on Lupus condition, in Sofia. During this event, it was mainly presented and discussed among the participants the challenges that people with Lupus face in their daily life like late diagnosis, problems at workplace and access on treatment. In this context, BORPD organized lot of interviews and publications at the media, while in the evening one of the most famous buildings in Sofia – the National Palace of Culture – was lit up in purple to raise awareness and support people with lupus all over the world.
