Dr. Svetla Dancheva is an endocrinologist based in Sofia with a long-standing research interest in diabetology and obesity, and over 13 years of clinical experience in endocrinology.

She provides diagnosis, prevention, and treatment for conditions and diseases related to hormonal and metabolic disorders, such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, osteoporosis, insulin resistance, and menstrual irregularities.

She graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1999 and obtained her specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2017. She also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from AUBG (2009).

Member of the Bulgarian Endocrinology Society and European Association for the Study of Diabetes.
